SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A 25-year-old man is facing a murder charge after police say he stabbed another man to death during a fight at a West Side apartment complex.

Bryan Wilson was booked into the Bexar County Jail Thursday on one count of murder, a first-degree felony, according to jail records.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were sent to the 1000 block of San Fernando Street on report of a stabbing just after midnight on September 2. Officers say they found Cecilio Reyes Lucio, 33, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to an arrest affidavit, a witness told investigators Wilson and Lucio were involved in an altercation before a knife was pulled.

Police say Wilson stabbed Lucio several times before running to a nearby home on Torreon Street. Investigators later identified Wilson through a Facebook account that listed his nickname, “Chops,” in the profile.

The affidavit also connects Wilson to a separate aggravated robbery investigation at the home where police say he fled.

Wilson remains jailed on a $200,000 bond.
