Parkrose Mural Paint Party Still Happening, But Not Block Party
PORTLAND, OR – The weather forecast is changing plans for this weekend’s community mural celebration in Parkrose.
The Community Mural Paint Party is still happening Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parkrose School District Office, 10636 NE Prescott St. Families are invited to help paint the community mural.
Available time slots are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. Light refreshments will be provided.
Families can sign up here to participate in Saturday’s paint party.
The afternoon block party celebration, festivities and official project unveiling are being postponed because of the weather.
The block party and unveiling will be rescheduled for a future date when the weather improves. Updates on the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony will be announced later.
