Say Cheese! Portland’s Mac & Cheese Week Is Back, and Things Are Getting Weird
If there’s one thing that makes a chilly November day better, it’s mac and cheese. And this week, Portland is taking comfort food to a whole new level!
PDX Mac & Cheese Week runs through Sunday, November 8, with participating restaurants and food carts serving up creative takes on the cheesy classic for just $10 each.
And some of these creations are pretty wild!
Migration Brewing has pepperoni pizza mac and cheese, Haymaker is stuffing mac and cheese into eggrolls, and Jade Cow Creamery is even serving mac and cheese ice cream.
Yes, ice cream. We’ll let you decide whether that’s culinary genius or a crime against macaroni.
